TETRIVERSE
Based on the classic game of Tetris, but played in reverse, TETRIVERSE is a game created in about a week for the Ebitenging game jam 2023 >
- Mouse or W-A-S-D to navigate the menu move the shape
- Q-E to rotate the shape
- Mouse click or SPACE to place the shape / navigate the menu
- R to reset the current level
- ESC to go back to the menu
- 1,2,3,4,5 to change the color palette
The PUZZLE mode has 10 levels that'll walk you though the mechanics of TETRIVERSE I recommend completing them first.
ENDLESS lets you play for as long as you can, with new lines getting added every few seconds. Be sure to look ahead if you don't want to paint yourself into a corner.

Very fun. My main (and pretty much only) issue is that the game doesn't account for spins being possible and assumes that all pieces move strictly vertically. Although I understand why these choices were made, it is still quite annoying to solve a puzzle in your head only for the game to go "Erm, ackshually, you can't move pieces sideways."

This game is great. I love this submission for the jam. As a person who has put hundreds of hours into Tetris, this game is up my alley.
